Are you considering breastfeeding?

Hey Lovelies!

I am new to blogging so please forgive me if this post is not up to your standards!

Experience:
I have 32 months experience breastfeeding and I am still breastfeeding to this day.

The choice is yours.

I am a stay at home mom! I have three children! One girl and two boys. Ages 5(girl) , 3(boy) and 1(boy)!

I breastfed my two boys the longest. You have to change your lifestyle for this. If you are a smoker (it has to stop, seriously!) you may want to consider getting help to quit. The point of breastfeeding is for your new baby to get the best nutrition ever! That comes from you and what you put in your body. So give your new baby what they need and what's convenient too! There is nothing more convenient then your breastmilk, I'm telling you! Lol. I whips out the boob EVERYWHERE!, literally lol. I can't get my youngest off me.

Anyway.. lets continue. Its all about what you put in your body. Fruits and veggies are VERY important! Double it triple it, it has to get your baby! How do you like how that sounds? Its the natural way to go, that's all I'm saying and its easssy.... after a couple weeks. I say that because in the beginning it hurts like hell. You will get use to it though.

Pros:
Nutrients & bonding time
Cons:
Hurts in the beginning

Formula.

I don't like formula. Period! but I did give it to my daughter (I was a new mom, okay). I didn't want to give up my lifestyle, I was young and I didn't know any better. Its not as convenient as breastfeeding. In the middle of the night when you're tired as hell and your baby is crying and crying for milk. YOU have to get up, make the bottle, warm the bottle and feed your little one. So you say "That doesn't sound so bad". Trust me, when you're waking up between 2-6am all night, you will feel the pain and frustration.

I am bias to formula feeding, I'm sorry!

Yet, it is an alternative.. but do this. Taste that formula! Gross! But, it has all the nutrition in it including DHA.

Again, the choice is yours and I will say this. Try breastfeeding first and if it doesn't work out, try it again. Let formula be your last resort.

Be open to changing your lifestyle to better help your little one! If you simply can't which I believe everyone can and can't doesn't exist, do what you feel is best!
